The next swap will be on May, 1st. 

This will be the first time I will try s/th different. So for the next swap you can either sign in for receiving, sending or for both.

The brown paper bag blue edition is back!

Hello to all you “blue ladies” all over the world!

This was a really lovely experience: The blue edition of the brown paper bag has now made its way back to me. From Germany to France, the UK, the USA, Canada and Argentina and then back to Germany again.

So great the thought that it really made it without lost and brought joy to those who played along. Thank you all for doing such a great job! Your handwritten greetings on the address list really touched me!

Only 3 pieces of blue which I originally have put in returned!

I have now chosen 15 pieces for myself to keep and decided to make a small “lottery” out of the rest. So all participants will have a chance to win the whole lot of blue that has made its way round the world. I will let you know who the lucky winner is tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Just to let you know, that I have decided to cancel the January Swap, because there are only 7 participants and in the USA there is this arctic cold that makes sending things out and receiving mail not easier.

Swap, Quick Swap and Postcard Swap: May and June

So here is what you can take part in for the month of May and June 2017:

1. The normal paper swap 

As usual, free spirit, no theme, send and receive lovely things to lovely people from other countries. You can sign in now.

2. Postcard Swap in June

Our theme this time is “Time flies”. So it’s all about time and its going by. You can make any art and do anything you want, as long as it is sendable on a postcard.

Or more precisely:

Take a blank cardboard or a piece of paper in a postcardsize (at least 10x15 cm) and create some kind of artwork on it. It can be anything you like, a drawing, a collage, a painting, printing, mixed media art etc..Anything that can be send out later. (Very much like an ATC)

Starting on January, 2nd, the first paper swap in 2012 will be around childhood themes on paper.

You can gather whatever you like, think of:

Paper Swap History

The October Swap „Every day papers“ will be the 20th Paper Swap. I’ve started this project two years ago, in October 2009.
I wanted a swap that was simple, easy to made, not too expensive and for everyone. I wanted something to connect people all over the world.

During the last two years paper swap brought so much fun and is such a sign of generousity from people, no matter if they are from Europe, the USA, Africa, Asia, Australia or New Zealand.
There are some of you who never missed a swap, some are hopping on and off,  some made friends with the swaps, some only take part once in a lifetime, but we all got something out of it in the end.

And I promise, I will continue this lovely experience through the year 2012. There will be ten wonderful new themes and at least three quick swaps in between. I will let you know the new themes in October 2011 with the start of the next swap.


But let us take a look back first.

Swallenges in October!

What is a swallenge*? A crossover between a swap and a challenge! I have two lovely projects to offer in October and you can sign in for both NOW!

First:


Because the second collage box has vanished without a trace somewhere in the UK, I decided to start a new one.
It’s for all those who have been in the Collage Box #2 Project and for those, who have not been in any Collage Box Project so far.
Please do NOT sign up, if you have been into this project before (if you have signed in for #1 or #3).

What is the collage box?
It’s a box with 144 (12x12) snippets, cuttings and scraps for collage making, sent out by me, travelling all around the world. If it arrives at your home, you will take 12 items out of the box and put 12 from your stuff in again and send it on to the next one on the list.
